Side Commentary
This book, like many, was something that started from a single snippet and really grew from there. In this instance, that was the opening teaser, begging the question of what would happen if someone called and asked for something that you knew you couldn't say no to? From there came this tale of Laredo Wynn and others (Rae Sommers being one of the favorite characters I've written in quite a while).
Also, if the closing isn't enough of an indicator, I would not at all be surprised to see this cast, w/ their myriad skills, show up again…
